This book is pretty alright, but there's so many references that it's hard to read just the text.
It's one of those books that unfortunately you feel like you have to skip and try to search through words to learn something

good... I bought this book only because it's a textbook for my class...never read the whole chapters

This was a very good introductory book to ecotourism. It was not too scientific as well as not being too elementary. It provided good information about the multiple effects of ecotourism in order to make the reader more aware of tourism's effects. I will be able to apply the information I obtained and use it for my trip to Central America in order to be a respectable and responsible traveler.
