Adobe Acrobat X for Windows and Macintosh: Visual QuickStart Guide
|

02/03/2011
This is an excellent book if you're upgrading from Reader and/or you've never used a full version of Acrobat before. It covers everything from opening and closing a file to using the Acrobat.com cloud computing site.
Acrobat is much more than just a program to open a PDF. This Visual Quickstart Guide goes over most everything you will need in order to become proficient at Acrobat X. The chapters and functions are well organized, the instructions precise and clear, and most importantly -- there are screen shots of almost all the steps you will be taking as you perform a task.
I am very familiar with Acrobat 9, but the new Acrobat X has changed the interface substantially. I am giving a presentation about the new Acrobat X to a computer user group and this book made an easy task of learning where everything is now located and how to perform functions step by step.
I highly recommend the book to anyone who wants to learn Acrobat X quickly and effortlessly.
